Introduction

Glen Bank is a Cumbrian longhouse built in 1755 situated in the village of Brampton, Appleby-in-Westmorland.

Due to the period of the building it has narrow and low internal door thresholds, sloping ceilings and crooked walls. Because of the narrow door thresholds sadly wheel-chair access can only be made into the orangery/dining area, downstairs bedroom and en-suite and the lower garden terrace.
